HARRISBURG – Reps. Garth Everett (R-Lycoming/Union) and Jeff Wheeland (R-Lycoming) will host a Gun Law Seminar on Wednesday, May 29, at 6 p.m. at the Loyalsock Volunteer Fire Company, located at 715 Northway Road, Williamsport.

“It is important for us to hold these seminars so that residents have the opportunity to hear directly from law enforcement about the laws regarding safe and responsible firearm ownership,” said Everett. “I encourage people who are interested to RSVP because seating goes fast.”

“We have hosted these seminars for a few years and always have a huge turnout. Firearm owners are very committed to obeying the law, and I think they find these seminars really helpful,” said Wheeland.

Residents will hear presentations on hunting law by an officer of the Game Commission, Castle Doctrine and Stand Your Ground by Judge Marc Lovecchio, Firearm Carry Law by Sheriff Mark Lusk, and police interactions by State Trooper Angela Bieber.
